Oh! what a wonderful thing it is when it works! I can talk to people all over the world, be more efficient at my work, create a new me through Gigmoz! Do my exercises online!! Who can ask for anything more. Well, except maybe hours, days, months, years to keep up with what's new and to actually learn how to use it properly. A little knowledge is a dangerous thing they say.

Flickr Color Pickr & Trading Cards

Hi Everyone
I had a lot of fun with this mashup as you could select a colour and be shown a variety of flickr photos which contained this colour (predominantly). It would be a great way of searching for a background for eg. a powerpoint demonstration where you needed a background of a particular colour to match your presentation.
I could also see that the Librarian Trading Cards mashup could be used in a variety of situations especially as a teaching tool for younger children where you could choose pictures of a certain group eg types of animals - amphibians and add a small definition, reptiles with definition. You would add a picture of each on your deck of trading cards - each child could add to the deck etc.
